Peter Pan Drive In

i was at the peter pan drive in on sept 3 2011, at around 530 i could not beleive how mad the girl working the grill was she was slaming things and banging around she didnt even try to hide how mad she was at something there was alot of people in there getting orders she was short with the poor young guy working the cash and we had friends with us and there daughter is 8years old she was frightened by the way this girl was throughing things around i have never seen anything like this i will say the food was good but i will never go back there again

We found this restaurant in a tour guide written by locals. It was our first stop for food and PEI and was quite interesting. The burgers were scooped and flattenend on the grill which was neat. Both fries and burger tasted quite good. We also had an order of fish and chips which was really delicious. Overall if you want a unique local experience, give Peter Pan's a try !

I decided to go to Peter Pan in Charlottetown yesterday evening at approximately 745 Oct 9th 2010. I entered the restaurant and faced the worker, who just stared at me blankly, and didn't even ask what I wanted, I asked for two cheeseburger platters with gravy ,as my wife have had on many occasions. In a fairly uncaring tone she said I don't have any gravy no sorry no apology no smile no nothing. Another gentleman came in and and asked for a milkshake,she replied we don't have any she didn't take long to scare him away, again no apology , no I'm sorry, the man just left shaking his head as if to say 'sorry I asked All in all this woman clearly did not want to serve anymore customers that evening, and that was clearly decided before I arrived. So, if you want to close shop for the day, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON THE CUSTOMER! as soon as I walked out of that door the OPEN sign went out. The happiest part of it though, was that the food was OK. I will return, but I do hope management has a chat with their workers about courtesy and good customer service.

This little restaurant (take out only unless you want to eat standing up) makes the best burgers in the world.no frills, just good old hamburgers and delicious..they haven't changed in 40 years, and that's a good thing. If you just want a good cheeseburger/hamburger, here's where to get it. The fries are not home cut, plain old frozen fries, but you won't notice if you get the burger with them ..or hot dog. My grandmother claims they make the best hot dogs ever.
